Very nice hark back to the days of the text mode, and the modem lines... Lots of fun, and it also had a forced projector break in the middle!

Very intense on the big screen.

WarGames is a great movie, but it just became greater after seeing it on the big screen. I actually felt the impact for the first time. The presentation had a major flaw: the satellite feed got knocked out for ten minutes. Luckily the movie picked up right where it left off.

War Fame(s)

Me and my buddy went to see war games because we both saw the original back in the day and really loved it for it's near total destruction theme that is so popular now on the big screen. I loved how some parts of the movie were not intentionally funny, but because of the world we live in and how technology has changed so much the ent. ire theater found itself laughing at themselves for once taking those ideals so seriously. Midway thru the fillm the screen went black and the lights came on. The theater became restless, then, BAM: the windows welcome screen with start button appeared and we all laughed because of the obvious, another computer malfunction. But after the theater fixed the problem and returned just where it left off. I really enjoyed the nostalga of it all along with of course the behind the story intro with interviews was great. Need more 80's film re-released like this I'll def go experience them. B+

Even with the late showing of the movie caused by incompentent projectionest, the movie was a pleasure to watch. I have never seen it in the theater before, so it was a unique opportunity to see it as it was meant to be seen.

Looking back at it 25 years later, some of the techie stuff is pretty cheesy, but it's still a fun movie to watch. The interviews before the movie were nice to watch. Aside from the 10 minute interruption of the feed (satellite problems someone told me) 30 minutes before the end of the movie I had a good time watching an old favourite on the big screen again.
