Nope nope nope! Not worth it. Nothing scary or making you want to stay.

Just like its predecessor, the frame narrative is the weakest part of the film, and I hope that if V/H/S/4 is ever made, the filmmakers axe that device completely, or at least do something new with it besides "guys break into house, discover tapes, and record selves watching them for some reason." (I suppose that V/H/S: VIRAL tried to do something new with the framing device, though that didn't work out very well either.)
Other than that, there are four segments, and it's only the middle two that leave lasting impressions. But for those two alone, V/H/S/2 is definitely worth watching.

Not often will I walk out of a movie, but this was such a disappointment after the first VHS. They replaced scares with gore and some of the sequences were laughable, most notably the park sequence. If you like gore films you'll probably enjoy this. For me, sadly what made the first film great is missing here.
