I was really looking forward to seeing this movie but was really disappointed. The acting was awful (except for Kristen Bell) and if this movie was supposed to give the fans some closure, i didn't feel that it did.

This is an amazing movie! Whether you have seen the TV series or just want to see an actionish comedy movie this is for you. As a fan of the TV show I found it very fulfilling. I honestly hope they make a sequel!

For Marsh-mello's and newbies alike

Just like super-hero movies, the Veronica Mars -film- oeuvre had to start with a story fans old and new alike could embrace. To that end, this film doesn't miss a beat. LOVED that everyone was older (no fantasy that time hadn't passed) and LOVED that you could see that age on our stars (hey, we're ALL older and that sure beats the alternative!). So, GREAT -- for this round, this film was spot-on perfect -- right cast, right story, right ON! For the sequel -- let's just say Veronica saves Neptune today. And tomorrow (the sequel -- pub-leeze!), the WORLD! Go. See. This!

Adult Veronica Still Rocks

The new Veronica Mars movie takes a little while to warm up to. While many of the same actors return, some of them have aged dramatically while others look like they just walked out of 2007 when the show was canceled. In particular, there is something undeniably different about the adult Veronica that I can't quite put my finger on. The film glosses over a lot of the intervening six years since the show was canceled. Why did Veronica leave Hurst College? Why did she give up investigating? Why is she still with Piz? We don't know. Nevertheless, when the movie returns to the noirish world of Neptune where there is a scandal behind every story and the cops are more crooked than ever, we are back in familiar Veronica territory. The grownup Wallace is now the JV Basketball coach at Neptune High, but is still pulling student files for Veronica. Keith is still bumping up against the evil Sheriff Lamb. And Veronica is back to solving mysteries and kissing boys. A fun ride.

Great, great movie. Such a wonderful continuation of the show. I really hope they keep it going in one medium or another. Please go and show Hollywood that crowd sourcing works!
