NO SPOILERS: Veronica Mars is Exactly What it Needed to Be

When it comes to movies risen from the ashes of television shows, Veronica Mars is the best of it's kind since Joss Whedon's Serenity. Rob Thomas absolutely brings it - smart dialogue wrapped in smarter plot. The comedy hits on every mark despite the risky and often subtle pop culture references pulled from deep corners of an internet generation. The cast's excitement to be back on screen together is almost distracting if it weren't completely endearing. And it felt organic, like we were picking up right where we left off - deep in the hearts of those in the heart of Neptune, CA. I can't say that it's an epic spy movie in the vein of Mission Impossible. I can't even say it's the biggest case that the Mars family has ever been dealt. But it's exactly what every Veronica Mars fan deserved. It was true to itself in that it left every fan wanting more. Now it's up to the studios and perhaps NETFLIX to decide it's worth. But for most of us, our adoration isn't quantifiable.

Worth the Wait!

I've been waiting for this movie to come out for months, and after seeing the movie yesterday I definitely would say that the wait was worth it! An amazing script and plot and so great to see all (most) of the characters come together again -- extremely well scripted and acted by all, Kristen Bell and Jason Dohring my favorites, but definitely great to see Mac and Wallace (wow!) and **** and Papa Mars and Piz and Max Greenfield again. Cameos by Jamie Lee Curtis, James Franco, Ira Glass, and KB hubby Dax Shepard all good too. Did not completely understand or like the ending with Weevil back in the motorcycle gang? WTF on that? But great to see Francis Capra/Weevil in any case. All in all I think Rob Thomas and the cast hit it out of the park! Definitely going to see it again this week, and really hope it brings in enough at the box office to justify a sequel!!!

Well done both for fans and newbies. You can never tell whether a "catch up with the characters now" type movie will disappoint but the new Veronica Mars movie did not fall short in any way. Personally hoping the ending will open doors to a new weekly or another movie. Well done cast, writers, producers etc. A job well done!

It's just like watching VMars all over again on TV, only this time it's on the big screen! It was so awesome seeing what all of them grew up to become after college. And it was so awesome to see almost every single person in the movie! The movie had such a great story line! And does a great job of incorporating some of the events that happened in the TV series. I also loved the sarcasm, just like old times! :) I highly recommend this movie, even if you are not familiar with the TV series. It's pretty easy to follow. I would love to see another movie made, or even another season again! Can't get enough of Veronica Mars!

First time hearing about Veronica Mars

My girlfriend wanted to watch this, because she liked the TV show. I haven't seen any advertisement for the movie besides the trailer and the preview clips I watched when my girlfriend told me about it. The clips of the movie that I have seen were pretty much the best parts of the movie. I think it is alright, but I think watching any mystery show on TV is the same or better.
