it was adorable and emotional. i absolutely loved it. i cried during most of it just due to the topics that pixar chooses. it's enjoyable for the whole family and very funny. i'd see it again and defiantly buy it once on dvd.
Probably the best film this summer, Up delivers with deep emotions, action and adventure, and moments of comic relief. Don't miss it.
I saw this movie in 3D the first time with my parents (72 & 66) and my sister (37). I'm 46. Started out a bit sad, but really made sense later. Cried several times (so did the whole theater). All of us enjoyed the movie. The writers sure got the dogs right. My Mom and I took my husband and 13 year old nephew to see it the second time in 35mm. We all enjoyed it. Enjoyed it even more the second time. It will be timeless. Caught more humor and joy of life moments the second time around. Go. You'll be glad you did. I plan to buy it. So do my parents.
I went with my friend to see this movie for fun. We thought is was very well writen and great for all families. It was funny and had a great story line with it! We loved it!
Do not under any circumstances waste extra money seeing this in 3D! This is a delightful film that stands on its own merits and doesn't benefit from the 3D treatment. The glasses my wife and I received seemed dirty. the graphics resolution and color clarity were shot to hell. I checked the lenses after exiting the theater and found nothing in the glasses that would explain the terrible optics. The last 3D film I saw (before UP) was The Polar Express which was technically wonderful. UP was not even in the same league! Faded colors. distorted images, uncomfortable glasses - you name it - this film blew it. By all means see UP! but see it as a regular film. Don't reward these guys for getting it wrong.
