Kirk does a great job of giving an overview of the basic gospel message in relation to suffering. He gives some nice insights that were new to me from the early chapters in Genesis. And it all revolves around the true story of the loss of his friend's son. This movie is also good for those who are not followers of Christ but would like a good overview of the core Biblical message.

We enjoyed it but there was too much Kirk in it and it should show more interaction with others that have been unstoppable in their lives. Clarification of the theme needed to be done.
We enjoyed the music and the stories but there needs to be more stories told.

This was a great movie that did not blame all the ills of the world on God. This refreshing film illustrated the human struggle, and even in the midst of his or her struggle triumphed because of grace, and mercy.

The 8pm show was sold out so we stayed up and attended the 10:45pm show. The opening with Kirk at Liberty University was very good and moving. Once the movie started my biggest problem was the sound level. I had to watch a good part of it with my fingers in my ears! That got uncomfortable so I just tried to stay awake and finish watching this movie. This is a technical problem at my particular theater I am guessing and not a reflection on Kirk or his presentation.
The movie has a good story about faith in and through sorrows. I must admit I dozed off a bit because of the late hour but what I saw had a strong punch and sincerity. The Garden of Eden/Cain and Abel section needed a bit of editing in my opinion, but in all this did not subtract from the affect.

I had purchased tickets ahead of time as I did not want to miss this. Had about 5 theaters to choose from for an 8:00 PM showing.
Got involved in something I couldn't get out of and missed it. Sounds fabulous, would love to get the DVD.
Glad to see all enjoyed it.
