I had purchased tickets ahead of time as I did not want to miss this. Had about 5 theaters to choose from for an 8:00 PM showing.
Got involved in something I couldn't get out of and missed it. Sounds fabulous, would love to get the DVD.
Glad to see all enjoyed it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, especially listening to Kirk. I am deaf with two cochlear implants that help me hear almost everything. It was easy for me to understand Kirk and I understood everything except the words to Mandesa's song and the other guy's song, especially the first time he sang. But, Kirk's story, acting, and knowledge of the Bible were superb.

I felt more like I was at a sermon than a movie. I really thought this was going to be a movie about a persons life that lost the battle with cancer and how their faith in Christ helped them through the issues. They also posed the question "Why do bad things happen to good people." I do not feel they gave any type of adequate response, and this question / statement was mentioned numerous times.

Kirk does a great job of giving an overview of the basic gospel message in relation to suffering. He gives some nice insights that were new to me from the early chapters in Genesis. And it all revolves around the true story of the loss of his friend's son. This movie is also good for those who are not followers of Christ but would like a good overview of the core Biblical message.

This movie has a very powerful message that I think is important for everyone to hear. Kirk really has a way with words & explains the Bible in a way I've never heard before but in a way that was simple to understand. I can't wait until this movie comes out on DVD.
