It really didn't provide answers to questions we were all asked in the beginning. If I am going to go to a faith promoting movie, I want to leave feeling edified and I really didn't. Like the movie Fireproof and Courageous, I felt good afterwords, but I walked out of this movie feeling like I lost some valuable home time with my children. I don't want to put Kirk down, I just think this movie missed the mark and wandered a bit on subjects that weren't covered clearly or really accurately.

I didn't know what to expect, when walking in. The beginning of the Film started very slowly, the message to me was a bit confusing. It seemed to pick up towards the end. I left not really knowing what the message was. Overall its still good to hear the message of God.

Last night, we went to see the “Unstoppable” movie. I thought it was going to be a “movie” about why bad things happen to good people. Instead it was a sermon by Kirk. The first five minutes I was crying because he was sharing the story about losing a dear friend to cancer. Than it went into a sermon and he lost me in the middle. He ended with trusting God. I won't be buying the DVD. Just my thoughts.

Not what I expected

The movie was more of a documentary than I expected but no harm no foul. It was amazing that so many starving people we in theaters around the nation at one time and a bit refreshing with all the hatred and ugliness in the world. Kirk discussed new ways (for me) of thinking of what the Bible means and new ideas on why God does things the way He does. The dynamics of the documentary kept me interested and the cinematography was excellent. The end didn't seem REAL strong, but maybe that was intentional. I think everyone should see. It had humor, realistic views and very touching. Well done.
