This movie was great and it kept you alert of what would happen next. Some part were a bit unrealistic or corney, like the mother in the daughters house with the prayer group, hmmmm Na, could have kept that one. However as a man of the Cloth, it allowed me to see in on how the enemy plays with the minds of people and just one fall can cause your life to be RUINED. Also I think (calvin-not the real name) the husband thats not really how brothers act saints nor sinners, so that act could have been more authentic. Overall it was a great movie and I think the more Tyler perry partners with others it broadens his creative imagination, like Precious, Good Deeds and this one so I say keep going and youll keep growing. Congrats Tyler. Prophet Que

okay so first off, i am a super fan of Tyler Perry and all of his movies and plays. I have seen every last one of them and enjoy every last of them. I have seen the play to this movie, and the movie is way better than the play. Everything about this movie was so great, the actors, the music, the scenery, and including the random black folk in the audience whom i watched it with. No One in the world can say that this movie was bad, or it was a waste of time and money. The only people that can say that are the people who are living Judith's and Harley's life, but then again if you did, you still wouldn't admit it. This is a great film, and one of Tyler's greatest work. For all the people who is saying that it wasn't that great, and your disappointed needs to shut up, because clearly you are not the director and no one is paying you to give an opinion. This was a great film, and i am so happy i spent my money TWICE to see this movie and i'm proud of Tyler. LOVED IT !! btw i'm 12

I went to see the movie last night and I loved the movie, it was a very sad but a very real story. This is also a story that you can learn from someone's sad mistake. This is a movie that I would recommend to everyone.

I don't understand all of the negative criticism. There are MUCH worse films than Temptation. Movies are supposed to entertain and Tyler succeeded. I thought he told a seductive story in a tasteful manner. I left the theater thinking about the choices that I made in my own life. The movie also reminded audience members to think carefully about who they allow into their lives. Thus, Perry did more than entertain, which gives his movie more value.
I do think Perry should hone his skills in character development and lighting. I could not see Brice for a large portion of the movie :-/ Nonetheless, the hyper-criticism needs to stop. If caricatures can exist in Oscar winning films like Django, then why dismiss Tyler Perry's efforts. I see an Oscar nomination in the future :-) And I'm not being sarcastic. Perry is capable of producing quality work, he just needs to invest in the craft more. How many other people are doing what he's doing? He deserves much more respect.

Mr. Perry hit a home run in this movie. I enjoyed it because it dealt with real issues that can plague a relationship if one doesn't do what they did to get someone to keep them as well. And, it goes to show that you never really know someone. People do change. I liked the way Mr. Perry dealt with sensitive issue once again like HIV. It wasn't about homosexuality. That was a plus. I could go on but, you get the message --- it's a movie most should see.
P.S. -- Vanessa Williams had one of the best lines in the movie near the end... I'm still laughing.
