This movie was pretty decent the opening and closing were nicely built. The entire concept of the movie was not to bad. Some steamy moments and up until the climax was pretty entertaining. After the climax however the movie was extremely rushed. One of the main characters life nose dives, and which should be the most entertaining part about the movie, happens only for 20-30 mins of the 1hr 50 mins of the movie. Kim Kardashian's role could have been left out. I wonder if Tyler Perry wanted to cast her only for more ratings? Over all I would buy this dvd it had a great message and I would watch it again. Oh and did anyone notice the major blooper? at the end the two main characters aged by 10-15 years/ But Brandy still looked the same age from the beginning of the movie..Um wasn't she supposed to age too? Lol I think Tyler Perry needs to take his time with his movies he's producing quantity but not enough quality..

I rate this a B. Let me start by saying that I am not a huge Tyler Perry fan but enjoy some of his films. This story has been told before but I think the message bears repeating BEWARE temptation. You may just get more than you bargained for otherwise. The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence...even though it may appear that way. That being said go and enjoy.

Tyler Perry's Temptation may not be the best film ever made, but neither are any of those highly rated Woody Allen movies that I am always trying to figure out. Here's the reality: Over 75% of all reviews by critics (95% of whom are white) at major media outlets of black-produced movies or movies about black historical figures or main characters are NEGATIVE (unless they are produced by currently in-favor producers, apparently, not the producer of Star Wars).
One would doubt that Tyler Perry, with his edgy and stereotypical Madea connotation, would have been able to break this obviously biased streak. That said, his consistent insertion of moral tones into his movies make them unique and valuable, as well as his consistent employment of typically overlooked and spurned, but very good, black actors--who often can't play leading ladies or men in American films because of racism.
Go see his movies. You're not wasting your money and will enjoy your time. Ba humbug to you too, critics!

Best movie that I have seen in a long time. It really makes you think about relationships and life. It's a must see for men and women!

If you are familiar with Cover, Temptation is a spinoff of it. However, I applaud Tyler for peeling back the covers on the sanctity of marriage, infidelity, sin and faith.
