Best movie that I have seen in a long time. It really makes you think about relationships and life. It's a must see for men and women!

“Temptation” is about a marriage counselor who gets tempted to go outside her own marriage and the consequences she’s going to have for her decision.
“Temptation” takes its viewers to movie school graduating with unforgettable life lessons. Don't go see “Temptation” looking for Madea, she’s not there. I don’t actually believe I laughed once. Not since “Fatal Attraction” starring Michael Douglas has a movie kicked you in the gut as hard for cheating. The movie is seriously bold and deliberate. Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s character transitions fast into someone no mother would be happy with. The men (Robbie Jones and Lance Gross) are more ripped and cut than your average husband and seducer. Kim Kardashian’s role only requires her to be herself. Mainstream critics will murder this movie, but Perry knows his audience and he delivers a home run with his message. You be the judge, I suggest you go see it for yourself.

Tyler Perry's Temptation may not be the best film ever made, but neither are any of those highly rated Woody Allen movies that I am always trying to figure out. Here's the reality: Over 75% of all reviews by critics (95% of whom are white) at major media outlets of black-produced movies or movies about black historical figures or main characters are NEGATIVE (unless they are produced by currently in-favor producers, apparently, not the producer of Star Wars).
One would doubt that Tyler Perry, with his edgy and stereotypical Madea connotation, would have been able to break this obviously biased streak. That said, his consistent insertion of moral tones into his movies make them unique and valuable, as well as his consistent employment of typically overlooked and spurned, but very good, black actors--who often can't play leading ladies or men in American films because of racism.
Go see his movies. You're not wasting your money and will enjoy your time. Ba humbug to you too, critics!

I liked this movie, but I didn't love it.
The movie opens to happy loving couple but soon things take a turn for bad when the wife is tempted to cheat on her husband. Her husband - a man she has known her entire life and been married to for six years.
Temptation told her that maybe she was not so in love with her husband.
Temptation said that she was no longer happy.
Temptation said she needs and deserves more.
Temptation saw a weak spot and took advantage.
Tyler did give a good story line; how often is the married woman the one being led a stray in movies. Hm, not often.
Overall- I thought the acting was fair. The plot was good and it had some cool twists. Tyler got some good shots of D.C. I was a little disappointed in the ending... I felt as though I needed a little more. The ending felt rushed to.
