It was a MOVIE, some sadness, some good times. HA HA HA! (We) love to laugh don't WE? Seriously though in all honesty, it took TOOOOOOOOOOO LONG for this one to get to the point. This MOVIE had more turns than a winding road that was 15 miles long. WHAT was up with the 5 second shower scene? LITERALLY SPEAKING ! THE MESSAGE, WAS definitely stronger than the movie and this movie COULD POSSIBLY make you reconsider your thoughts on cheating / leaving etc., IF you think that you could be happier elsewhere. MY advice is to see the movie for yourself and form your own opinions. I will say that the best time to see this movie is in the daytime, that way you may have a chance to ACTUALLY hear what's going on. KIM WAS ALRIGHT, but not OSCAR worthy just yet. IF she continues to climb KANYE'S (ladder) though, she just may end up on (TOP) in the real world. NOT !!!!!! Jurnee was worth watching (AALIYAH'S twin) but Robbie got ROBBED of his looks..........Tyrese wouldv'e owned that role.

This has to be his worst film ever. Save your money and wait for it to come out on the Lifetime Movie Network...You will have a better appreciation for it and you will be $12 richer.

In traditional Tyler Perry fashion this film cannot have just one issue. We have to compound the drama by adding every issue known to man. Don't get me wrong, Jurnee was outstanding as usual. Lance was delicious. Kim was like a pretty porcelain doll, emotionless. However, the writing had the potential to be great, but this over acting Spanish soap opera style is terrible. When everything was finally over, the ending is HORRIBLE.
This film has proven to me that TP does not have any friends because a real friend wouldn't let you go out in public like this.

This movie was extremely predictable. It had its moments, but there wasn't enough content to steadily keep your interest. The sub-plots and twists were something out of a cheap, dollar-store romance novel. A twelfth-grader could have written this movie, seriously. I think Mr. Perry takes for granted the African-American movie goer and thinks he can put out anything with an all black cast and we should come support his films. This time, he let us down. Strictly my opinion, but I think we need to demand more.

I loved the movie!! I felt it was powerful and one of Tyler Perry's best!! I would see it again! I can't wait until it comes out on DVD and Blu Ray! It had a great lesson, and just was powerful! It kept me on the edge of my seat! Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but the bad reviews I just do not understand. I LOVED the movie, and so did my girlfriend! As for it being sad, real life isn't always rosy and happy ending so why should movies be? I give it 5 stars!
