When I first heard about Twilight I thought wow vampires that's pretty stupid. But then one day I was at the book store and I found them and thought I'll give it a try. So I started reading them and I was immediately entranced by the romance and suspense of the books. It's not just all about romance, it has action too which I loved about the book. I think the movie will be good but I know the book will always be better. So don't be so judgmental like I was and give it a chance. If you don't read the books (which I would recommend) then still see the movie. The plot is great and the point of view of vampires is excellent. Also it's not just for girls. I know guys that read it and are going to see it. So if you think it's a girly movie then you are very wrong. I think the actors will be great and even though Edward is not how we all picture him, I think Robert Pattinson is a good choice for the role. It will probably leave you dazzled.

I WANT TO ERASE THIS MOVIE FROM MY MEMORY. I loved the story and characters so much more in my mind. Okay now that, that's out the way how could Stephaine agree to this. I'm absolutely in love with the books. but the movie OOOOOOOOOHHHH NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO what is this crap, the camera looked like it was trying to focus most of the time, the director must be in love with the 360 turn around shots cause there was a lot of them, bella's acting sucked. You don't get a chance to fall in love with the characters at all. Jacob was barely in the movie! The background of the Cullen's wasn't in the movie. To me the movie was if Twilight was a flash back (when you are about to die you get the flashback of your life) you get glimpse of what the book has but unless it was your life you wouldn't understand what was going on. there is so much more the this than what the movie lets you see. To those who haven't read the book PLEASE go to a bookstore now and learn what you are missing

I honestly fell in love with the characters and story from the books. I was apprehensive at first about who was going to play Edward, thinking that whomever it was that snagged the role couldn't be a well-known actor. In my mind's eye, the man would have to be absolutely phenomenal; outside and in. I just couldn't fathom that there would be someone out there that would pull off being the vampire I so desired from the books. At first, I didn't recognize Robert Pattinson as Cedric from Harry Potter...even though I own the movie! Thinking, "There's a face I don't exactly mind looking at", I began to let Robert Pattinson's Edward take the place of the wonderfully foreign concept of the perfect man that I had originally envisioned. This is the reason of his overwhelming success as it were. Hard to imagine what it would be like to simply put colored contacts in, have hair fixed up in a beautiful disarray, pale make up applied, and viola: Edward. "You don't know how long I've waited for you."
