I wasn't excited about seeing another animated film or getting nauseated by the smell or theater popcorn, but I took my kids at their request. It was actually a very good movie with a positive message and adorable characters. I enjoyed trying to recall the actors names who played them by voice recognition. This is one to see in the theater (not necessarily in 3D - as I don't think ticket prices warrant what you get). Go in 2D and save your money for a healthy lunch/dinner afterwards :)

It's a nice family movie. We all laughed a lot and it does have some emotional also. Worth watching the movie. I have a 7Yrs and 6Yrs old kids and both had nice time enjoying it.

This is a GREAT movie for any aged audience. My fiance, myself and two boys (8 & 11) went to see this movie and absolutely LOVED it. It was a truly inspiring story that no matter what your obstacle is if you believe in yourself and you never give up you can always reach your dreams no matter how big they are. Turbo was a real treat and I appreciated the family story line. I know that my 8 year old was so into the movie and story line that he had a personal connection and cheered and cried for our main characters.

My husband and I took 2 of our grandchildren and we all really enjoyed this movie! We love hearing our grandkids laugh right out loud!

The Kids laughed the whole movie and sang "That snail is fast" by Snoop Dog all the way home. They want to see it again and again. Good clean fun. I've lived in the LA Area (Van Nuys) and have been to the Indy 500 many times - Dreamworks nailed them both - not overdone - genuine - if that's possible for animation. If you were to take your kids to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first time after seeing Turbo - they will feel like they've been there before. I took them to the late showing (9:30PM) so the theater was only half full but when the movie ended everyone applauded. Only a few scenes with 'commercial' images that's inherent in the sport. You will see more commercial signage driving down any street or watching 15 minutes of TV. Note: don't be surprised if you see kids dancing in the aisles during the credits.
