My grandson really liked the movie but at times the movie was slow and I could tell he and I were getting a bit restless. All in all it's a worth seeing movie.

I took my son to see turbo and he, I must say was very pleased. He enjoyed this movie from beginning to end. I on the other hand couldn't find my inner child.

I love animated movies, and even movies made primarily for kids.
However this has to be one of the dumbest ideas for a movie I have ever heard of. I totally get he concept of suspension of disbelief, and I'm all for giving kids the message that their lives have unlimited possibilities, but this movie asks for too much even for a kids movie. A snail that competes directly against cars in the Indy 500? What?? And the fortuitous event that gives the snail this power involves him surviving getting sucked through an automobile engine. Really??
The animation was great, but why would Dreamworks waste so much money putting such an unbelievably awful story on the screen? I recently watched "Planes", and loved it even though there were some pretty far-fetched plot lines in that one (a crop duster winning an air race), because there were still significant attempts at including elements of realism. No such attempts were made in this movie.

My kids where really looking for to see this movie. We really enjoy it, specially to see how against all odds Turbo was able to make its dreams come true.

Watching it, from an adult's perspective, I was expecting it to be the same as all of the other children's animated movies. However, I was pleasantly surprised! I thought the story was very cute, and the characters extremely likable. I would recommend this to almost anybody!
