I didn't have high expectations for Turbo, but I had faith in DreamWorks's ability to get me interested in snails and left turn racing. I wasn't let down. Turbo turned out to be a modern, heartwarming, and entertaining animated movie.
Turbo opens well, but drags a bit until the middle of the movie. The comedy is great as are the visuals (though the visuals aren't up to Pixar's level). This movie also has a great soundtrack.
Turbo held the attention of all the kids in the theater. There's some mild violence and a comical perceived death of a predatory crow.
Turbo is a feel good story that's well executed. With Monsters University and Despicable Me 2 still in theaters, I'd recommend Turbo for younger audiences. If presented with the three, I'd see Monsters U 1st, Despicable Me 2 second, and Turbo a close 3rd.
There are some fun scenes that interact with the credits and a scene in the middle of the credits
If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!

I took my 5 1/2 year old grandson to see Turbo. We could not stop laughing. This is a great kids movie. Its great for adults who still like to go and see Disney type movies!! i definitely recommend this movie.

I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would. "Turbo" is an underdog movie that a lot of people will root for because determination is the driving force behind it. David Soren did a great job crafting this movie and I especially liked the character parallels between Turbo and Chet and the two taco bros. The vocal contributions of the actors were nice, the story was well-written and the end result is the best animated feature so far this year. "Turbo" is a pedal-to-the-medal good time.

My husband and I enjoyed this movie as much as the kids. There are some great lines to remember. This movie is funny and fast and friendly! No bad language, no overt innuendo, no violence, no overly intense bad guy scenes, just a little guy against the odds.
If you have brothers or a pair of best friends who could use some uplifting role models, Chet and Turbo, and Tito and Angelo are great examples of brotherhood.

This was a fun and enjoyable movie. You definitely felt the emotions of the characters, especially Turbo. A wonderful story and movie for kids. My 11 year old grandson liked it and that's saying a lot.. I love it when there is a good, clean, fun movie that also teaches hard work, determination and encourages one to believe in himself and his abilities.
