Loved this movie. Thought I would be bored based on the reviews of some on this website (and yes, the first 15 minutes were slow), however I found myself dancing, laughing, and cheering in my seat for Turbo and his buddies. The music was amazing, and I downloaded it the moment we left the theater. Also, I think this movie had a very positive message about minoriites, women, and those of lower socio economic status. It wasn't gushing about being a minority or one of the working class, at the same time it was positive without being paternalistic. Highly recommended for the entire family. Saw it with DD, but we are going back to see it with DH for sure!

I took my 5 and 8 year old to see this. The 3D wasn't over the top and added a nice kick to the film. At some points, the kids were reaching out to the screen to "touch" it. That always makes me smile. The story is sweet. Not a tear-jerker, more of a "go, you can do it" movie. There's a brother character (Paul Giamatti) who isn't so sympathetic, so when he turns around in the end, it feels like it's just because he's gotten on the bandwagon. I know I'm reading too much into an animated film, but I like a good story. The kids will have fun, but it's not Nemo or Toy Story. It's fun and sweet, but not a thrill ride.

We thought the movie was cool, with great animation and detail. Not only that - it was funny, too! We highly recommend it for any age!

I guess the best review I can give is from my grandchildren, who said "this is the best movie we saw this summer" And we have been to see Epic, Monster University, and Despicable Me 2. We all loved it.

Took my son to see Turbo and we thoroughly enjoyed the movie... While it was a good family movie, it also told a good story of believing in yourself and following your dreams.... Highly recommend Turbo,,,,
