Double Trouble

Most Americans can relate to a good baseball story, especially when it involves a great interpersonal struggle and/or love story as expressed by actors with the talent to make it real. Clint, Amy, Justin and John hit a homerun here. Interestingly enough, trouble with the curve happens from both sides. My local paper labeled me as a "fireballer" but I never mastered the curve and my career ended in college.

not a great movie, i fell asleep at a couple of points. They should have used Justin Timberlake more, he was the most exciting of the cast.

Even better than we expected! Eastwood getting old but still great, also a wonderful cast. If you love baseball and Eastwood, just grab your popcorn and enjoy.

This was a well written, well directed, and well acted movie. It was typical Eastwood stuff...he is tops in his craft, and the rest of the cast were no slouches either.....they meshed very well.... Jim

A nice early movie for the autumn season.

Overall, it's a "good" movie; not great, but enjoyable. The actors worked well together: Eastwood, is aging, but fits the role, of course; Adams is beautiful, in general, but believable to be a daughter to Clint. Though the film has cliches, it's rather sweet. You don't have to be a baseball fan to like it.
