    Feel good movie

For any child that didn't have a close relationship with your parent- this movie is yours. Clint Eastwood plays his normal grouchy old man. And he nails it. Justin Timberlake makes you laugh and smile. I hope he does more movies. My kids play baseball. I enjoyed this movie and hearing the terms and lingo. A movie that ends the way you want it too.

    Trouble with the Curve

I thought it was a great movie. It was very thought provoking. It touched my heart with the daughter trying to reach out to her dad to figure out why he left her. I really was touched when she figured out what he meant by hearing it and she knew that the young man who didn't play ball so that he could help his family out was the real deal. I cheered when the ending was what I hoped for. Clint Eastwood was great as usual.

A wonderful story, Clint Eastwood's part deserves an Oscar nomination! All facets of making a movie were great. I would say OK for children over 14.

Trouble with the Curve has Trouble

Like these types of movies in general; sports theme, feel good etc and like Clint Eastwood. However, found the movie to be just OK. Clint's character seemed to old for the age of the daughter and when his wife passed. Got a little slow in spots. BUT, an enjoyable movie but only if one likes the thematic in this movie in general (sports stories). If you don't, wait till it comes out on NetFlix or DVD. Save you some money.

    Nice Baseball and Family story

    by

If you like baseball or have ever had a rough relationship with a parent then you might enjoy this movie. I enjoy Clint Eastwoods recent works and this is no exception. It is not an action movie or a comedy, it is a light family baseball drama.

    Trouble

Watching Eastwood in this movie was like watching him as "Dirty Harry" without the gun. I kept thinking how much better Tom Selleck would have been in the role.

    Homerun

Some critics and reviewers need to separate their political views from a movie review! The movie is an all round movie for many viewers not just a select audience. It's about people that work in baseball and their family relationship not just baseball. All the actors delivered their characters just as they should have. You will see the club, feel for the loss, dislike the jerk, and hope for healing and love. The movie was just the right combo of drama, comedy and love with enough baseball thrown in to satisfy baseball fans (not fanatics). The only bad thing about the movie is a line that mentioned the Kardashian family. I liked this movie so much I will buy it when it comes out on DVD.

A little trouble with the curve

I was a bit disappointed with the story line of this movie. The plot was predictable ? the bad guys got what they deserved. But that's okay because it felt good when it happened.

I thought the ending would've been better without the Justin Timberlake character returning. (Come on, everyone knew he'd come back.) Why? The Amy Adams character deserved someone better. He only came back after he found out she was right and he was wrong. If he had to come back, she should've told him to take a hike.

I also think the writers missed an opportunity when Clint explained to his daughter how he beat up a guy. He should've said he sent her to live with an uncle because he was sent to prison. And he didn't write because he didn't want her to know he was in prison. That would've been something out of his control rather than being bad judgement.

But I liked the movie and would recommend it, especially to baseball fans.

A feel good movie that you walk away from with a smile. Eastwood as an irrascible old man as only he can be. Story is predictable but plenty of laughs and issues. A good escape and fun.

    A very touching story!

This movie had a great simple story line to follow. The actors were superb and I believe it had a great ending. It is a great movie for baseball lovers and enthusiasts and for people we are just looking for a movie with a simple yet touching story to follow along to. The movie could definitely capture the attention of the older and newer generation of moviegoer. I definitely enjoyed it!

Trouble With the Curve hits a home run for us!

Hubby and I loved it. Not a Clint Eastwood fan, but loved him in this movie. Big fan of Amy Adams and she didn't disappoint. Even enjoyed Justin Timberlake. Very good acting.

Nice storyline. Heartwarming. Really enjoyed the whole film, no parts to "get through". Other than some strong language it's a great movie for the whole family.
