I am fortunate to have a true IMAX film theater near my home. I've seen TRON: Legacy, three times in IMAX-3D and will see it a couple of more times. Once it's out of the IMAX, it won't be the same film. It grabs you right from the beginning. I enjoyed it beginning to end. Fun fun fun! It's the loudest movie I have ever seen - loved the music. Beautiful world, sounds, colors, costumes, make-up. Excellent action and stunts. CGI was well done - spectacular visuals. All the actors did a fabulous job. Story was fine. Cinematography - awesome. Great for the kiddies too :)

This movie absolutely blows Avatar out of the water. If there were ever a movie that was meant to be seen on a giant 70x50 IMAX screen, it's this movie. The 3D CGI are nothing short of spectacular, and while the exposition and the few bits that were shot in 2D slow the story down a bit, in the end (especially the final 15-20 minutes), Legacy is a mind-blowing and absolute msut-see! I am eagerly anticipating watching this movie again during opening weekend.

If your a fan of visual entertainment with spectacular CGI effects this is the movie for you. I admit the storyline was a little weak but I loved the movie for what it was. I go to the movies to be entertained and seeing this in IMAX 3D was as entertaining as it gets. Forget about the couple of bad reviews you see, this movie ROCKS!!!

I really didn't care that the plot was a little sloppy and the script a little silly - after all that was true of the original Tron was it not? - this was a great entertainment experience in Imax. I loved the battle between young and old Jeff Bridges plus the stylish visualisation of life on the grid. Seeing this on the regular screen probably loses some of it's allure - make the commitment to Imax for this one.
