I had a chance to go to an advanced screening of this film two weeks ago and all I can say is WOW!!! Very much has that old school creepy vibe going for it. It is very reminiscent of good "multiple story" movies like the first Creepshow. Several recognizable stars and some really good fx make this film a great little Halloween gem. Don't go in expecting Citizen Kane or anything. This movie is not that type of film, but it is not trying to be. What it wants to be and suceeds in is being a really good spooky popcorn film that you can sit down and enjoy in a dark theater. This movie was made for all of those people that want to be scared on Halloween. I recommend this film HIGHLY!!!

Trick 'r Treat was one of the best halloween horror movies I have ever seen. I loved how all the stories somehow intertwine and meet at some point. The town that loves Halloween so much has way more going on that no one even knows about. The acting was excellent with well known actors like Anna Paquin and Brian Cox who only added to the excellent script. Definetly well worth my money and one of my favorite scary movies and great for a Halloween scare.

this movie had a great way of mixing comedy with horror for a hauntingly fantastic time!

Watched this movie last night after spending 30 dollars on blue ray - this movie was a huge disappointment. Poor acting.. wasnt scary AT ALL! Not even my 6 year old boys thought it was scary (of course they had to close their eyes during some nudity). The end was Stupid! Waste of money for sure. Not sure what all the hype was about.
