Great Action Makes Up For Everything Else
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the sequel to Michael Bay's blockbuser 2007 film Transformers, and it continues the war of the Autobots and Decepticons. That's all you really need to know. It has a story, but it sucks and you don't really care anyway. This movie has amazing special effects, and in beautiful IMAX, you're completely immersed in the action. The forest battle is a spectacle to behold on the glorious IMAX screen. I have to say, this film has some of the most spectacular special effects I've ever seen. The robots look great, and it's really cool to see them go head to head. However, despite these grand effects and action sequences, the film sucks in every other catergory. The dialogue, acting, story, characters, they're all TERRIBLE! My paper on lions I wrote in 4th grade was better written than this crap. So, all in all, it's worth a look. Just don't go in expecting anything other than big freaking robots kicking the crap out of each other.
