While not perfect, Trance is one of the few high concept movies in recent years that translates well to the big screen. Most stretch too thin when made into full fledged movies and are best left as interesting ideas or short stories.
The art aspect of Trance is nothing more than a cover for a sinister and creative story.
If you thought Inception was a mental merry-go-round, Trance will be the equivalent of a blender. My advice is to soak up the movie without trying too hard to figure out what's going on. By the time the movie ends, you will understand everything.
It takes a strong cast and a great script to pull off a movie like this. Trance delivers on both while keeping you on the edge of your seat and your mind on the edge of sanity. The less you know, the better this movie will be.
There isn't anything during the credit, but there is a very brief reference to the movie at the end of the credits.

Very disappointed in mr Boyles Trance after so many great movies. Technically proficient but unoriginal, typical Hollywood drivel. Very violent, no likeable characters, just not that interesting.

This movie was interesting from start to finish. It was like watching someone else's dreams most of the time. There were also a few twists to the story I was not expecting. A very cool movie and worth seeing...

Don't look too closely, just enjoy the ride. The 3rd act isn't quite as strong as the two leading up to it, which will keep you on your toes, but that doesn't make the whole any less enjoyable in the hands of a master like Danny Boyle. James McAvoy and Vincent Cassel are excellent.

TRANCE was an unbelievably spectacular experience. The acting of the 3 main characters - James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson, Vincent Cassel - was intensely brilliant. The visual effects and the way it was all put together was just mind-blowing. The many twists and turns in the plot just pull you in. I am a HUGE James McAvoy fan -and my guy was just as stellar as he always is!!
Don't miss this movie!! It's a big screen experience (don't wait for DVD) that is an all-round event.
