Great movie, worth the money. Great acting from Cheadle.

Like many of the other reviewers that spoke of Traitor in a positive light, I thought it was a well done and intelligent film. I do wish that the portrayal of Islamic people was more balanced, but this is only a movie.
The script was smart, and presented a lot of issues in only an hour and fifty minutes. The screenwriter also wrote The Day After Tomorrow so he is not afraid to tackle somewhat controversial issues. The acting was great, Cheadle was good (though his Sudanese accent went in and out throughout the movie), and Guy Pearce was in my opinion even better.
I would reccommend anyone wanting who wants to be entertained by a good story that has more than just explosions, check out Traitor. If you are ok with not thinking, not paying attention, and then not remembering what you see immediately after leaving the theaters, watch Lakeview Terrace or Righteous Kill.
Traitor is well worth the money and will be part of my DVD collection when it comes out.

The oddest part of the movie is that the original idea came from comedian Steve Martin. There is no funny business here. It's a strong drama with some action, great photography, and a nice storyline. I like the twist at the end, and found it satisfying. It even gave me a chuckle of joy at it. Good acting. Good direction. It saved the movie going weekend since Babylon was goofy.

A very enjoyable evening. Don Cheedle has become one of my favorite actors. The plot was less predictable than I thought it would be. Action scenes were believable.
