This was the first time I have taken my kids to the movie theater. They are 3 and 5 year old active boys and sat through both movies with little trouble. They aready love the Toy Story Movies. My 3 year old did not wear the 3D glasses because they just kept falling off, but he still loved it.

Older children can handle it

So the movies are great and the audience had seen them at least 100 times like my son has. However, the 3 hours to watch both movies made a lot of the children completely insane. I have an older child who can tell me his needs and understood that this was going to be a LOOOONNNGGG movie experience and held it together. But some families that brought their children just let their kids go ape s*(&! The digital 3D effects were okay. I'm just not feeling it. I remember 3D with a lot of things jumping at my face, this 3D stuff that is being put out right now just seems to give movies more dimensions on screen than anything (geeze I sound like a grump today!). Well, it was fun to see the movies on the big screen since my son only had seen them on DVD's but parents of small children, be prepared to leave several times during the screening to accomodate your children and not drive the other audience members nuts with your little guys.

Good Movie, but not the 3D

I went to go see this movie by myself thinking it was going to be really awesome in 3D. However, I was not very happy at the end of the show. Most of the 3D effects were in the previews, which stunned me beyond belief. While watching this double feather movie, I did a little experiment and took my glasses off every so often and found that some scenes were flat and some scenes were 3D. I noticed they were 3D because when you took off the glasses it became fuzzy. On the scenes that were flat, they were clear as Cristal when you took off the glasses. Overall, it was still two very good movies and you did get to see more of Toy Story 3 in the previews. There are also some really good kids 3D movies that look way better then the Toy Story 3D double feather. This double feature movie looks like something the producers spent little time on and just wanted to get more profit on this, so they just released it. Thanks for reading! I hope this helps!

We really enjoyed the movies but it was a very long time to sit in a theater. Being 6 months pregnant and haveing a 5 year old with me I felt like we were constantly going to the bathroom. LOL. The 3D affect was great. But like my daughter said..."Mommy we have this movie at home"

These are 2 of my favorite Pixar films, and while you could not tell much difference seeing them in 3D, they are still great!
