to the blunder

I see a lot of movies, good and bad. Mr. Mallick failed at whatever he was trying to do here---maybe capitalize on the success of "tree of life" and make some $$. This is an incoherent mess. I don't know how they filmed it but the editor must have been drunk and on drugs when he put this worthless crap together. If I sound upset because I wasted time and money to see this I am. There was a 1/2 star slasher showing at the same theatre and I missed that to see this joke. Please take my advice and stay away. Take your $8.50 and get a hot dog and a will feel better for it.

Wow, is this a super, super intelligent plot beyond me?

I swear, I didn't realize it is a Malick movie. That was the 1st mistake. This kind is way beyond my intellect. If I'm younger, I'd have been feeling really inadequate. I do realize there are those films that I'll always end up walking out on, and this was another one. Made me wonder though, those who stuck around are really super intellectual people, compared to me. I vaguely thought that this movie was about relationshps. I just sat there, kept hoping I could apprehend what was going on. Ben ffleck rarely uttered a word; neither did Bardem. The scenes kept shifting. I didn't get dizzy, but it just kept my head spinning. Somehow, I just finally, finally got up and walked out. Too steep for me! "Nuf said?

Other than a few sweet words of love spoken here, this movie sucks!!!!! There is very little verbal communication, there is no furniture in the house, which was really odd to me, the streets are virtually free of human life and nothing makes sense. This movie is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I don't think I will go see another one of Malick's films. At least Tree of Life had some beautiful visuals.

It's a Wonder that this was even made

To borrow a quip made about James Joyce's Finnegan's Wake:: After Malick made Tree of Life he had nothing left to say, and he said it in "On to Wonder". This is one of the most self-indulgent, empty, pseudo-intellectual films you'll see in a king time. I have never written a review of a movie, but I felt compelled to warn film goers that this film is a hoax.
