THe remake of a Sci- fi classic was very well done. I enjoyed the change of the story line from Mars to Earth. The character build was great. will go and see again.

Updated look, bad rewrite

Loved the updated look and forward looking tech, but the rewrite of the storyline was awful. And boy was it loud. We went to the Lowes at 84th street in Manhattan and suddenly I thought I should call the EPA for sound violation.

Great remake

Seldom do they get a remake right, but this time they did a great job. The movie was funny, logical and added new tidbits. Personally I like the old movie and this one has appeal all it's own. They did a great job of bringing in elements from the original while creating twists of their own. I recommend it heartily.

It was okay

The graphics was off the chain, but throughout the movie, i felt confused and lost as for when the climax was going to happen. I original was way better with Arnold Shartz...nagger! The story was finely put together, it was easy to follow along, and I sat through the entire movie. I found myself falling asleep in this version of Total Recall.

Good because of Colin Ferrell and visuals- but more like a remake of Bourne

Colin Ferrell is very charismatic in this action first, second and last film. The whole Inception kind of dream/reality blur is minimal. The visuals for flying cars, weightlessness, the look of the city and a realistic looking set of technology are all excellent, but at it's core is who am I. And the answer is a high-flying butt-kickier Bad guy Brian Cranston is lame, but Kate Beckisndale can ramp it up. We had fun.
