It was a good movie not great but good. I cant say i really want to see it again but im glad i saw it the first time. personally i liked it better then the first one and for those who believe that statement is akin to blasphemy please realize that while the old one was great for its time if that version had been released today it would have been a laughing stock. the action and story is good but it seemed to be missing something. still a good movie though

Total Lameness

Do yourself a favor - spend $2 and rent the original 1990 flick with Arnold, Sharon Stone, Rachel Ticotin, Michael Ironside, and Ronny Cox. Each of the 1990 actors does a better job than their 2012 equivalent, although I have to admit that Kate Beckinsale does make a better agent than Sharon Stone (but Sharon was so hot in those days it's hard to criticize her). But the problem is that all the suspence is gone, which is a problem that faces any remake. In addition, for whatever reason, the 2012 version seems far less futuristuic than the 1990 version, and the special effects they do have are not so special. For the $138,000,000 they spent, it all seems wasted. There are a few twists and turns in an attempt to "update" the storyline and keep us guessing, but generally speaking they are unsuccessful.

Makes the Arnold version seem like something out of the 1960's Star Trek special effects era. Colin Farrell is superb in this high-tech, gritty feature that's non-stop action to the end!

Go to Total Recall

This movie in very different from the first one. It's similarity ends with the planting of the false vacation memories in someone who has already been "programmed". Colin FerrelL is a great lead and there is lots of action. I strongly recommend Total Recall.

The robots acting was better than the humans.. The robots dialogue (none) was better than the verbage by the main actors.... get my point? they tried to up one on an Arnnny movie and failed... We left half way through the movie....
