    FUN

Of course there is a great cast, and whether or not you've been to Rome the city sights are wonderful . Not particularly brilliant writing, but it's light, amusing and fun.

    Woody needs to stop acting

    by lchipp

Woody needs to stop acting in his movies. After a spurt of very good films he puts out this turkey. No one wants to see his uni-character plopped into another film. Not only did it not carry a poor screenplay with poor acting. We gave up trying to be engaged and/or entertained and walked out. We were not the only ones. And why does he cast other uni-character actors like Eisenberg in this and Owen

Woody Allen No Longer Has It

When a movie presents normally decent actors displaying unusually bad performances, I tend to blame the directing. This film epitomized that problem. Though the jokes were funny, the romance was cliched and boring. I'll concede that the movie made little attempt to apologize for the characters' scumbaggery (see Eisenberg/Baldwin's segment), as most movies do (see Love, Actually).

A good, but not great, Woody Allen film

The four vignettes are amusing and entertaining. Is it Woody Allen's best? Maybe not, but it's well done and worth seeing.
