    Great Summer Movie to Watch!

    Thor was, by far, an entrance for the SUMMER BLOCKBUSTERS! The movie had a plot, which I liked a lot. The action scenes are very good, and there are plenty... The character development swayed from one character to another, which kinda left an eerie feeling. The acting was better than I expected it to be. Unfortunately, they made the plot too short for the love scenes to make an "awwing" effect, so sometimes it felt like it was to extravagant. The lines that Thor said were cheesy at some points; just when the movie was hitting the climax. To me, there should be another Thor sequel, but don't worry, there will absolutely will be one in The Avengers. Totally a must watch for the family!

    Thor is half a bore

    Thor is mediocre. It had enough action to keep me interested but overall it was flat and uninspired. Comic book, superhero, mythology type movies need to rely more on script and less on visual. Thor is lacking the passion I felt like I should feel.

    Entertaining, but not the best Avenger

    I had to see this movie since Thor is one of the Avengers. Out of all the Avengers movies Thor is my least favorie, but nonetheless very entertaining. Thor is more of the "supernatural" (gods) or alien race (i.e. SuperMan) based hero vs Technology based (i.e. Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America)...so Thor was just less "believable". Anyway, I'm nitpicking.
    Enjoy the movie and go see it (or rent it at this point).

    Loved it!

    This movie blew me away! I felt like I was watching a Shakespearian tragedy but mixed with all of the action sequeneces of a summer blockbuster! Loved it! Marvel Studios is three for three!

    Whoa

    Critics say so-so, dont listen to them they need a break This is totally mind blowing and you will totally get obsessed with it!!!!!!!!! Three remarks: Sound and view was radical, LOKI IS AWESOME, I WISH I SAW THIS IN IMAX! This movie is for tweens or anyone who loves superheroes

    this has to be the worst mistake i ever made seeing this movie it was just so bad and boring i literaly fell a sleep in my seat and did not wake up until the movie was over so sad that i spent money to see this movie and will be more careful next time well i guess you live and learn dont you lol

    The Mighty Thor brings about a mighty movie!!!!

    This movie was cool. Cool story, action, and the actor playing the Thor fit pretty well to the comic book legend in terms of looks, and acting. Actor Chris Hemsworth played his part well, and obviously worked out to bring to life the Mighty Thor as he looks totally different than playing Captain Kirk's father in the sci-fi hit reboot Star Trek. This is an overall awesome movie to watch, and if you didn't see it at the movies, watch it on DVD, it is worth it.

    Surprised!

    When I saw that this film was directed by Kenneth Brannaugh I thought, "what would he know about Marvel Comics?" Apparently, he knows a lot. Until Thor became...Thor again in the film, I thought the movie was smart, funny, and excellently written. Towards the climax I felt like the story was a little rushed...at the same time it was good enough for the audience to know that more will be coming in a following film.

    This film has great comedic timing! The action is fantastic. I think some of the so-so press reviews could be deterring potential fans, which is a shame. I encourage all to watch this film! I

    Thor: The God of Thunder

    This movie was fantasic. The casting choices were right. Great concepts of the characters. It had good enviromental areas (such as the planet) and it had a good setting. The villian/s were very good, great dialouge. Overall I would go see the movie whenever.

    Fantastic Comic Book Movie

    It had a story that could mamke anyone like it. My wife was even a fan and has opened her to going to see more comic book movies. Less cheese than some of the comic book movies. Good story and great for all ages.

    Thor Stole My Heart

    Had a wonderful time seeing Thor for date night with my husband. Lots of action, great cast, very funny, and even heart-warming at times. Thor has made me even more excited about the upcoming Avengers movie than Iron Man did. Don't be in a hurry to leave the theater, there is extra footage after the titles like The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man movies. If you love Marvel comics and have enjoyed the other films I highly recommend this for fans or anyone who enjoys a good action flick that doesn't involve a lot of cerebral work on your part. Go see it, and kids (of the appropriate age) will love this.
