The Dark World 3D

We loved the movie! Few movies are made where you can take everyone and they can all sit back and enjoy the ride. I am the mother of a grown son and it's one of the few things we still do together. He knows that I look forward to the Marvel movies coming out as much as he does. And, my 64 year old husband won't say "you guys just go to that one." So, it's dinner and a movie and lots of good conversation afterwards. This type of movie (superhero genre) brings families together--everyone has an opportunity to recapture a little bit of their childhood...so --yes, keep them coming. Any critic that is picking this apart for the stories sake is just talking to hear themselves...yeah. I taught English. My sons holds an MS in engineering, my husband a PhD., ummm, we love all the Avengers Movies. 10 thumbs up!!!

It's happened: A sequel better than the original

Thor: The Dark World in 3D was an all around good movie. No it wasn't mind blowingly good, but it was a definite improvement over the first Thor film...which let's face it was basically a 2 hour trailer for the upcoming Avengers film. I love the little plot twists they threw in there, and really enjoyed the snarky and witty humor that the marvel movies have become known for

Another fun chapter

Another fun Marvel super hero movie! I don't know if it was as good as the first - too much focus on explosions and battling on Asgard but it had a good story. The banter between Loki and Thor are the best scenes. Definitely worth seeing!

3 persons attending this movie: myself (mom) and 2 boys (ages 11 and 15) Watched it in REAL 3D We all enjoyed this movie very much. Lots of ACTION, good story line with interesting characters. Nice balance between tense emotional moments and other scenes with humor. We look forward to owning a copy on DVD when it's available. Highly recommended!

Sci-fi fun

Most of the movie occurs in Asgard which is a real treat for sci-fi/fantasy lovers (yay!!). Great performances by all cast members, as always. Neither the story line nor special effects disappoint. For the ladies - Chris Hemsworth doesn't need Thor gear to look good. We get our gratuitous, mind-numbing shirtless shot. :) Lastly, how can you not love Loki despite all his faults. Darn those alluring bad boys!!
