I was so excited to go and see this movie because I love Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann..... while some parts were very cute, and some parts were funny, the movie was just tooooo loonnggggg! Over two hours was just too much.On a good note, Melissa McCarthy was her usual funny self, too bad she was only in the movie for a couple of minutes.

This movie was absolutely hilarious. It takes a lot to make me laugh out loud during a movie and with this....I was dying. Tears in my eyes. So many great one liners and many that I'm sure I missed from laughing so hard. I'll have to see it again. If you're 'around that age' and have kids that age......see it. The cast was great! Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd are hilarious and so are the children in the film - Leslie's children in real life. Al Brooks is great too. Not understanding the 'vanilla' reviews from some - lighten up people! Not every family is the Cleavers - for goodness sake. Welcome to dysfunctional family 2012. LOVED IT.

What sad is that this movie is my marriage. The F word was very much used which I would prefer that it wasnt. This is not a movie for children AT ALL, its more geared for married adults.

My husband and I just left the theater. It was a horrible movie. Screaming at your wife and daughters that they should "have a ****" is not funny. Yes, there were funny parts.....but 10% was funny. 50% was slow, 30% was disgusting, and 10 was something too odd for words.

Some Funny Moments But Too Contrived For Me.

At least they actually used the child talent here. Had they not, this one would have been much worse. Still, this play is hardly the family comedic romp they're selling in the trailers. Is it a bad film? No. Is it worth the price of a movie seat today? That's a judgment call best left to the one that's paying. Given that particular choice again, knowing what I know now, I'd have waited for the DVD, cable or stream.
