A Clear Picture of Life at 40, with the Pleasures and ManyPains that comes with It.

Apatow does his thing again! He makes a comedy out of an introspective story about real people. If you are married and in your 40s, or even close to it, you will probably get more of a snapshot of your life than laughs. It was funny at times, but not drop dead funny. Melissa McCarthy was hilarious as always though. The good part was that Rudd and Mann give believable performances as the married couple from KNOCKED-UP that are still trying to figure themselves out in this phase of life - with kids, mortgages, careers and sex. The problems they had were things an audience could connect to.They could have cut 10 minutes off the film to move it along quicker though. Still, I enjoyed the ups and downs, and the reconciliations the characters had to go through. It may not hit the funny bone like you thought walking in, but it will make you feel something walking out. Don't miss the outtakes. Geek Soul Brother gives this film 3 out of 5 Cosmic Afros. Just Awful!

This is only the second movie I have ever walked out of. The folks in front of me left also but much earlier on. I am usually game for just about anything as long as it is well done but this was a pathetic attempt at comedy and totally not funny. There was also one scene in there that has ruined it for me and Paul Rudd. I will never be able to watch him again without thinking of it. Oh well, there's always Johnny Depp to fall back on.

slow start. had some funny moments. the trailers and the outakes at the ending credits that we saw were the best part of the movie. the leads in the movie were good. the kids were funny, specially the older daughter. melissa macarthy was hilarious. more thought provoking about middle age than funny.

When I saw the movie was over 2 hours I thought "Oh No", but the movie was funny, fast paced, you could identify with the different characters because we all have family and memories that were portrayed in the story. I would see it again and very seldom do I watch movies twice.

Great movie! Lots of true to life scenes, situations we all may find ourselves in at times. Plenty of humor to make the most awkward times bearable! Definitely worth seeing! Loved all the characters, especially the children!
