Umbrellas of Cherbourg & The Young Girls of Rochefort

2 excellent Jacques Demy films of long ago, and a special feature was George Chakiris making a presentation at the beginning of the films as he had never seen The Young Girls in which he was a featured actor. He captivated your attention for his dancing skill and presence even though Catherine Deneuve and her sister were 2 very attractive young actresses who played their parts very well. Umbrellas was unique in that it was a precursor to Andrew Lloyd Webber's works in that there is no dialogue in the movie as everything is sung.
