Another great movie from the guys who did Shaun of the Dead. Easy to relate and despise the main character at the same time. Yes the movie does get a wee bit silly but it sends a message. It's very funny and moves fast. Highly recommend this with Shaun and Hot Fuzz.

It's consistently funny throughout the whole movie, the characters are wonderful (Nick Frost as the straight man is brilliant). Simon Pegg is of course, genius. Story is predictable but they still manage to make it hilarious so who cares? Genuinely good time.

I guess so-so would be OK, but we expected so much more that we pick NO. I guess it just depends on your personality. About 40 % of the audience were laughing when we were just staring at the screen. Perhaps the director/writer have smoked too much weed for too long.

Let me just say right off the bat that I freaking loved this movie. I think that I first discovered Simon Pegg in "Sean of the Dead." And, I've been a fan ever since. This movie did not disappoint. Those that know him from his roll in Star Trek (and appreciate his work there) may not be the greatest fans of this movie. In fact, I think that a lot of the site gags and humor may be lost on American Audiences. This movie is very much in line with what you had seen in "Sean of the Dead" and it's very much "British Humor." If you like or love humor like "Fawlty Towers" or "Monty Python" ... this movie is for you.
Being someone that is not a fan of Zombie/Sci Fi invasion movies ... it always makes me leery to invest time in watching one. If you find yourself in that boat, don't let that deter you. It's a movie that pokes a lot of fun at the silliness of that genre. And, it's very well done (considering the modest budget) I say Go....

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost together again! I'm a big fan of the Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz so it was only natural for me to want to see the 3rd film in the Cornetto Trilogy. As usual the gang gets together to finish that one last pint they couldn't back in high school but at the same time you come to realize that this is more than a comedy film, Simon Pegg's character is struggling with alcoholism and coping with losing his friends to adulthood. Its hilarious, but powerful at the same time.
I recommend it. Its a must watch.
