This movie was one of the best Summer movies out this year. Wolverine did a wonderful job (as usual), and it was a very intense movie. The supporting actors did a great job as well. I would recommend this movie. Can't wait for the DVD release.

The Wolverine Slashes Back

I am very pleased to say that they finally captured the true essence of Wolverine in this movie. You see his vulnerability, they've pushed him, physically, mentally and emotionally. They've really Uncaged the Beast in this. As I watched as well, I definitely turned into a giddy nerd. This movie has really shown why this character is my favorite. He is a very well rounded character that in some aspects are very mysterious. I just hope Hugh Jackman continues to portray the character for as long as he can. I would really like to see more X-Men movies filmed as well as this one was. Go see this movie, even if you are not a fan, it is a very moving and entertaining film. On a side note even though it is PG-13, I don't really recommend it for children under the age of 10.

Another slow, disappointing Wolverine movie to go with Orgins

I thought this movie would make up for the first Origins movie w/ Wolverine.. no luck. Deep in story, slow in getting it across and very limited on "real" action. I understand the plot trying to be told and truly understand it but just not worth the $15 to see in the theater where that experience should be well above watching at home.

Wasn't my favorite Wolverine but the talking kid behind me didn't help

Took the family to see Wolverine because nothing says family like a single guy clawing a bunch of bad guys to pieces. Personally - I liked the story of the last one better. In fact I also liked the last Xmen movie more too. This one seemed contrived and lacked the story line to really get me caring about the characters.

The most exciting thing about this movie was the preview for 47 Ronin

I grew up on Wolverine and the X-Men. I loved X2 and First Class and tolerated all the other slop. Even though I was disappointed in the first Wolverine solo movie I got excited about this one because I heard it was more story driven and less about throwing as many random mutants on screen as possible. What we end up with is a superhero movie without the superhero. This is not the Wolverine from the comics. Hugh Jackman prances around with his shirt off, makes the occasional angry face and feels sorry for himself for nearly two hours. Luckily, there are great spurts of action, which is the only reason I even gave it a so-so. I almost fell asleep about halfway through. The ending was ridiculous and the love story boring. Overall pretty disappointing, but if you're like me and have invested literally hundreds of dollars into watching the comic book heroes of your youth come alive on the big screen, you'll probably see it anyway. There is an excellent scene during the credits.
