Where's the fun in that?

I understand that Wolverine/Logan is a tortured soul that has lost everyone he has ever loved , but what fun is it to watch him mope around for an hour? Guess what Logan, you and Jean were no great love story, I don't need to be reminded about her every 15 minutes. Get over it. I like the chemistry between him and his bodyguard Yukio, but on the flip side there was no heat between him and his love interest Mariko. I want my Wolverine and any Wolverine movie to be pumped with action and while Hugh was very pumped physically, the movie was weak. It seems when he lost his power to heal, the movie lost the power to be fun. My dreams now rest on X Men: Days of Future Past.

If you are a true comic book and old school cartoon fan, forget the story line. Keep in mind that this movie stands alone. This movie is full of action, ninjas and Hugh Jackman's muscles. Way better than the last movie.

Having never seen X-Men, I didn't know what to expect, but it was good. I like Hugh Jackman also it would be good just for that to me. Enjoyed the fight scenes. The plot was good.

Sure, the plot is not strong. In fact, I kept thinking how similar it was to Iron Man. Still, Jackman is worth seeing all by himself.

Not all that great but better than the first one.

If you read the original comics this story was in, you will be disappointed with the retelling and the characterization. Some of the fights were choreographed ok, but one in particular was painfully horrible as far as physics goes. There are several plot holes that a truck could drive through, for me to the point of distraction. It's better than the first one, but that's really not saying much. While I am not disappointed I paid to see this, I certainly won't be bothering to watch it again, and unlike Pacific Rim this is not a movie that begs to be seen on a big screen.
