I grew up on Wolverine and the X-Men. I loved X2 and First Class and tolerated all the other slop. Even though I was disappointed in the first Wolverine solo movie I got excited about this one because I heard it was more story driven and less about throwing as many random mutants on screen as possible.
What we end up with is a superhero movie without the superhero. This is not the Wolverine from the comics. Hugh Jackman prances around with his shirt off, makes the occasional angry face and feels sorry for himself for nearly two hours. Luckily, there are great spurts of action, which is the only reason I even gave it a so-so. I almost fell asleep about halfway through.
The ending was ridiculous and the love story boring. Overall pretty disappointing, but if you're like me and have invested literally hundreds of dollars into watching the comic book heroes of your youth come alive on the big screen, you'll probably see it anyway. There is an excellent scene during the credits.

This was better than the first one by far. explained a lot more about the character than before and went into his past which I liked far better than the story line from before. great improvement.

We all thought it was exciting; lots of action. I though the story was fascinating. Hugh Jackson looks and acts as great as ever. The Japanese actors were very good.
GO SEE THIS MOVIE. It’s very entertaining.

I enjoyed this movie very much, had new players in it, that did a very good job.
Very exciting, edge of your seat movie. Good for any age to see.

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this film. Hugh Jackman is the best! The supporting cast was better than I've seen in other Wolverine films. It held my interest every mInute. Can't wait for the next adventure. - Carol
