Hardly any good action in the movie. There was no other mutants in movie except one which sucked. I wanted to like this movie so much because I'm a X-Men fan but this one left me walking away disappointed and unsatisfied. I own all the other X-Men movies but I won't be buying this one.

Better than what I had expected !

The whole theme of the movie with Wolverine fighting the Yasuda company, yakuza, and his own inner demons blended well together. I especially loved the setting in Japan, that brought back alot of good memories when I lived there! The fight scenes were really well done, especially the bullet train fight. Al of thr actors were dead on, no damsels in distress who were help,es, and Hugh Jackson was incredible, you can tell he LOVES this role. I didn't expect an Oscar winning film, just a good action flick that wouldn't I suit my intelligence. And you really should wait for the teaser during the ending credits...

The Wolverine - reviewed by WJ

I probably wouldn't have seen this if I hadn't won a free pass mostly because movies with battles are not my cup of tea. This movie had a lot of death and many battles. Still it was better than I expected and I liked it a lot. It had many ninja battels. a tall blonde snake lady, great scenes filmed in Japan, and a big shiny robot. The plot was interesting and this is the first time I have seen a Wolverine movie of any kind. Even with all the battles I liked it and would recommend it. I loved the fact that it was about new technology and robots.

Secret Agent Wolverine Big Man In Japan!

Hugh Jackman is so talented, I could watch him read the phonebook so it wasn't hard to watch this latest entry for The Wolverine. However, I found it more like "Secret Agent Wolverine." The fight set pieces are great (just put your mind on hold for the one on the bullet train) but there is a tremendous amount of stereotypical crap concerning Japan and the Japanese people. The film felt 30" too long and got a little stale at the end. In closing, Jackman is great; script very muddled, terrible acting by the lead actress and Japanese stereotypes about people and culture make it hard to watch sometimes. As always, there is post-credit scene that teases the new upcoming X-Men film. I hope Logan gets his metal talons back. Kids over 10 OK; no sex scenes, a funny giggle-worth bath scene and not much blood and gore. There are hat-tips to two other films. Can you spot them? One is for James Bond's "Diamonds Are Forever"....and the other for Kurosawa's "Throne of Blood."

My son and I loved it. Never read the comics so no idea if it is close to it or not. Hugh does great ob as the Wolverine. Need to wait for the credits surprise scene in there. There was lot of action for my son to be happy and laughing at Wolverine's comments.
