At least you're taking a step in the right direction. The past few years' comedies have been a slippery slope down the muddy hill to see who can say the most outlandish things and who can deliver the most raunchy sex jokes. It's unfortunate that "The Watch" isn't a particularly good film, but it is at least clever, original and less vulgar. Don't think me a prude, I simply think that recent comedies could have been written by teenagers learning about their sexual desires and there's no actual grown-up humor. It's like we've recently begun to believe that only adults understand sex, when really it's only adults that understand jokes with sexual undertone (ala "Shrek"). There's still plenty of sex and **** jokes, although they fit in with how a group of guy friends talk among one another. The idea is fun, the cast seemed to enjoy making the film and I wouldn't shy away if they did another movie together. However, this one isn't going to be remembered very favorably, if at all.-Comedy Fan

Anyone who reviews this movie badly is an idiot. After reading some reviews i was discouraged and almost decided no to go but changed my mind at the last second and decided to give the movie a chance. I knew it would be alright anyways because jonah hill is in it and he has the most amazing track record; super bad, the sitter, 21 jump street. Money ball too but that wasn't really a comedy. Anyways, after going I must say that this is in my top 5 most funny movies. If your looking for a laugh this movie will, without a doubt, make you crack up. There is no way it won't Please make sure you see this movie.

I went into this film wanting to like it, but alas, I could not. If you have seen the trailer you have seen 98% of the funny moments. Dry rigid performances from Hill and Vaughn, over shadow anything that Stiller and Ayoade offer. The story is boringly predictable, and spends 90 minutes going nowhere special. Overall a sad waste of very talented people, clearly meant to capitalize on name alone.

Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller and Jonah Hill have NEVER steered me wrong! I was iffy after reading the reviews but knew I couldnt go wrong w/ these guys. And sure enough they were funny as usual, it was cool seeing them in a movie together too! If youre a huge fan like I am you wont regret going to watch this one!

If you were disapoointed with Ben Stiller in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, this would be even more disappointing. The plot is way too simple. It is an absolutely trash-movie. All 4 characters are disappointing
