  I thought 'The Uninvited' was a good movie. I jumped a few times and there were scary parts! Yes the twist ending was strange, I didn't find it as confusing as all the other reviewers wrote though. You have to play very close attention to every single part in the movie because they are all hints.

  Just okay.

  The acting was definetely good, and there were a few scream worthy moments, but overall it was just okay. The story line was decent, although a bit confusing at times, until the end that is. The "surprise-ending" was definitely surprising, but as soon as it was revealed, I began my trademark eye roll. The ending was just too much like so many movie endings I have already seen. 'A Tale of Two Sisters' and 'High Tension' come immediately to mind, although I'm sure I could come up with at least a couple more similar endings, like 'Secret Window' and 'Hide and Seek'. Like I said,"All too familiar".

  The Uninvited

  The title did not make a lot of sense to me. BUT! this movie made you think and it was a great psychological thriller. It's really good, well acted, well portrayed, and is by far one of the best remakes of any asian horror.
  Anyway, great movie, i suggest you all see it.

  Better Then Expected

  I don't want to give out too much, but the movie was better then I expected. It wasn't great, but it wasn't THAT bad either. Got like two scares. I noticed around me the theatre really WASN'T that
  into it, no screams or covering eyes. Same for me, I just sat through it hoping for something to happen, which didn't really give off. The ending has a suspensful twist, which I appreciated something out of it. Like I said, it wasn't that bad, but I'd wait for rental.

  Shockingly good.

  I went into this thinking it would be a horrible American remake of a Japanese masterpiece but I was happily surprised.Nothing what I expected great story telling the ending was phenomenal I wanted to watch it again as soon as it was over.Also it reminded me how much I've missed Emily Browning.I will definitely be picking this up on dvd.

  Wasn't Scary... Buuuuttttt....

  I found that the Uninvited wasn't scary, but the story behind itself was awesome. The ending was truly shocking. I think you that if you like weird and shocking twists in movies, you would enjoy this film. But, if you were just watching it to be spooked... don't waste your money.

  Better than expected.

  So I went into this movie with my friends thinking it would be another bad asian horror remake. The cast sounded promising, but the plot seemed like it would be cliched or something. After watching the movie, i was surprised. This is an exceptional horror/suspense movie that is so much better than much of the crap Hollywood has recently been throwing up. People say it was too confusing. I disagree. It really wasn't hard to figure out at all. There are just so many simple minded people out there. Overall, this movie was good. Acting wasn't perfect, but that was expected. The Uninvited is definitely different from The Grudge or The Ring. And in my opinion, definitely better.

  crazy chick

  This is a very good suspense movie. Some of the "scary" scenes are obvious before they happen. Despite this drawback the movie will still manage to make your girl clinch your arm from time to time. Every movie has some type of twist that changes your perspective of the story, The Uninvited has a twist that I never expected. Im a big movie person and I never saw it coming. The twist is so good it will blow your mind. It will make you think about the entire movie all over again so you can see its true. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good scare and an interesting story.

  This movie was definitely worth seeing. The twist at the end got a bit confusing but overall it was a good horror/thriller movie. the twist at the end was filling but very evil.... i was definitely not expecting what happened at the end.

  Th Univited??!?!??!!?

  It was a very good movie if you just want to hang out with ur BF or just some friends!!! It was great until the end then it got very confusing, i will have to see it again. Other than the ending... it was fun and scary!!! I would suggest it for 13yrs. and older.. It was Good!

  Better Than Expected

  While I went not expecting much from The Uninvited, my wife didn't want to see any om my selections for Valentine's Day. I must say I was not disappointed by this movie, which I understand is a remake of a Korean movie from 2003. There were several very predictable plot elements in the story, but I must say I did not see one of the final plot twists until just before the reveal, so I was entertained by it. That said, the rest of the story contained several of the story elements expected from a suspense movie about a step mother from hell. If you liked Hide and Seek (2005), you'll probably love this movie. If, as I did, you didn't much care for Hide and Seek, and found it predictable, you may still be entertained. 3 Stars***. Worth a look.

  Worth taking a watch.

  Parts were kind of slow but overall it was suspensful and did have a twist at the end that made it a wickedly good ending.
