What was the point?
Two good actors, predictable plot, some very funny parts, but lots of unecessarily vulgar, foul-mouthed language and sexual behavior meant to shock viewers. I watched the behind-the-scenes clip, and even the "breezy" director had difficulty shooting Heigl's public orgasm scene. Watching Katherine refering to the male ***** in the vernacular of porn writing was beneath her and rather embarrassing. Some in the DVD commented that this movie was made in the mode of Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn, not hardly. I do not consider myself prudish, but to see two quality actors talk trashy lowered them and made me cringe in the process. This is not a movie that I will recommend -- to anyone.
