I am very picky about movies. But I thought this was a great movie!!!
I was laughing continously. Do not listen to the REAL critics.
Go see this amazing movie for yourself. Some say it was predictable but I loved that the battle between the two characters. DO NOT SAY that this is a crude movie because if you can watch Bruno, The Hangover, Knocked Up, Superbad... then you DEFINITELY can take this.
There was no nudity just sexist jokes. I found it to be funny and I am a very single female, who probably messes up a lot of relationships... GO GO GO GO!!!

This movie definitely was no “D.” I would rate it a B- or C+. I thought Katherine Heigl played a very smart woman. I also liked how Gerard Butler was likable in spite of his boorish nature. I read that the movie was predictable. When I walked into the theater, I knew that the two stars were going to get together. That was obvious from the trailers. The way that they got together was in no way predictable. They went through many hilarious situations to finally get together. Overall, I enjoyed this evening at the movies.

This film was absolutely hilarious. I was laughing throughout the entire thing. Yes, it was predictable, but I just think that made it all the better. The second they entered the restaurant my friend I both looked at each other and whispered, "sexy salsa dancing scene!!". And it was great! Gerard Butler is one of my favorite actors. From the Spartan leader in 300 to the man we all fell in love with in P.S. I Love you to the hilarious, sexy, albeit crude comedian we see in The Ugly Truth, he has come a long way. He and Katherine Heigl had stunning chemistry, and it made me really happy to see them end up together in the end.
If you go into that theater expecting something more than a hilarious, light hearted, summer romantic comedy then you will be disappointed. It is, at it's core, a chick flick. And a great one at that.

A really funny movie. I especially enjoyed hearing lots of laughs in the audience, women and men laughing together at the same thing. My favorite scenes: sexy salsa dancing, and watching the dawning of the Real Truth on Mike's face. Full disclosure: I'm a big Gerard Butler fan, so I may be a wee bit biased. I saw it twice, it was that much fun.

I can't remember laughing this hard at a movie for a long time. It is crude, rude, and ended predictably, but who cares!!! It's the laughs that make it worth the price of admission. If you can't take a bit of over the top sexual humor this is definitely is not for you. I laughed until I cried...
