I think this might be the first movie that i watch in the movies long ago when it was first released in the theater. it was a good movie from what i remember. it got me thinking if everything we do now is on tv or if someone is watching it right now.

Old favorite

I've felt like a Truman. Hasn't almost everyone at some point? My favorite part about the movie is the instrumental music. It sucks you in to his world of big smiles, simplicity, and simultaneously overwhelming sense of deceit. It chews you up at the emotional parts. And JIm Carey actually does a fabulous job with Truman, mixing a tiny bit of his trademark humor into Truman's habits, which is good for a few giggles. The plot feels chopped up in some places, and the end still has me aching for more of a conclusion, but this will always be an old favorite for me.
