The movie was great, so sorry to see that there were only 5 of us in the show. Wonderful movie and I got to see who Levi really is. Thank you for doing it.
To be honest, I didnt stay long for the panel discussion, thought it was a little boring and the guy running the mike just didnt keep my attention, sorry. BUT the movie was great and so uplifting and glad that I took the time to go see it.

The Levi effect is a fairly balanced portrayal of Levi Lepheimer. Though the juxtaposition of some of the Tour de France races with what we know now about the performance enhancing drug use by the team is rather ironic and to use the favorite adjective in the movie surreal. It gives good insight into cycling and also the Gran Fondo and the community of Santa Rosa... watch out for a population boom in that town. Nice to see time given to the folks that helped Levi succeed..the dentist, the mechanic etc...Definitely worth seeing if you are even remotely interested in cycling....the panel discussion at the end is absolutely dull except for Tom Danielson...he is a riot...too bad they did not have Horner...also....
Notably absent is much refernce to Lance and also you could tell it is still very difficult to discuss and talk about the use of performance enhancing drugs.

The Levi Effect was well done, but was a bit redundant, especially the discussion panel at the end of the movie. I wish they would have touched on the Tour de France a little more, but it was cool to see footage of the USAPC in our very own state! I would recommend it to others. It's nice to have the option to see special screenings such as this so, I hope that continues. It was a bit disappointing to see so few people in the theater. It might be a question of whether there is enough exposure to the masses.

Less of cycling movie, and more about the man who spent so much time with Lance.
It gives an inside view of life before and after the doping crackdown.

Good quality movie. I am glad that he is focused upon giving back to his community. I just wish that he would have explained more what exactly he and his former team mates are going to do to improve cycling.
