This has got to be the worst movie i have ever seen. I would rather watch Barney the dino kill march of the penguins; over and over and over. Now that I am done ranting about not getting those two hours of my life back, on for the review

    1. Movie had slow vocabulary.
    2. It lacked any emotion
    3. To many witty puns
    4. Characters lacked talent in all areas
    5. Slow moving and retracted on itself to many times.
    6. Director must have been high the first part of the movie and drunk the last part.

I would not recommend this movie to anyone. It is a waste of electricity.

    Original buzz:

I went for free and still hated it.

     by  DarkGrimz4

Alright this is how the cookie crumbles. I'm an AMC Employee so I get to watch any movie I want, completely free of charge. I've seen most of these movies out at the moment and decided to give "The Signal" a try. Even if you're getting paid to see this movie... REJECT THE MONEY! The fact that it's "Limited" says it all. If you live in NYC like me and going to Times Square costs you like $11.50 or more than please watch something else. This movie is an unwanted mind trip...

I pitty the fool who spends money on this junk!

    For the depraved only...

     by  Ann_Fan moviesrule

I am a bit ashamed to say that I really enjoyed this bloodbath of mahem and every kind of violence, check the credits to see the number of people playing dead bodies, depraved people etc! The humor in it is pretty comical though and I did laugh out loud! There are 3 directors who do a part or 'a transmission' each. Dan Bush, Dave Bruckner and Jacob Gentry are very tallented, but I would not like to meet them on a dark night! A strange TV transmission is sending everybody mad and violent, AJ Bowen is the standout bad guy for me. Only for the hard core violence fan, would be good on DVD for Halloween or New Year'se Eve, when it is staged.

    Disturbing Yet Satisfying

I very disturbing movie with a lot of gore. If you are into getting totally tripped out and disturbed than I highly recommend this film.

    Enjoyable

     by  Shua37

Thought it was enjoyable watching three different scenarios, each directed by someone different. The second scenario was rather humorous. And the general idea of what the signal does is interesting.

A Different Perspective on Crazy! Cheri Christian is hilarious!

Very interesting twists in characters' mindset. You can see the change in reality for each character. Hot main characters, different types of humor, and creatively gory!!!

    Ok i guess

It seemed a little silly at times and it dragged for a while. There were some funny moments but I should have waited until the video. Ten bucks is too much for this film.

    The Signal: Hilariously Violent, Human

This gory, funny, human indie flick really impressed me. Told in three parts by three different writer/directors, the piece has a slightly disjointed feel as the second segment delves into comedy more deeply while the first and third deal more directly in horror/psychological thriller land. (I happen to think the second segment is the best of the three.) Still, the story is carried successfully through all three segments and approaches a genre that usually focuses more on gory effects and spring-loaded cats with great pathos and humanity. We're engaged in the personal stories of the people rather than just shown stereotypes. Never fear, though, The Signal is not cerebral nor Remains of the Day territory. It's an indie gore fest with some clever twists and a real sense of humor about itself... and there are even a few spring-loaded cat moments just to keep you jumping. It's fun. It's smart. It's NOT for kids! It's definitely worth seeing.

    RUN AWAY!!!

Worst movie ever. Sure ultra violence presented in scary and new ways is always of interest but The Signal misses the point in every way.

American Psycho is my favorite film and I walked out of The Signal and I wasn't the only one who did.
