    September issue

A look into the fashion world that one would never get otherwise. I find the movie as interesting as I had expected. Note that SHE wears the same necklace almost all the time but a different outfit in every scene; makes you wonder if these are loans or her own. I also found it interesting that many of the editors were former models and to learn about their background.
    Also for lovers of NYC.

Go for Some, So-So for others. For special tastes.

Ok, that qualification made, I liked it. It was a window into a world I'd
never given much thought to and, a world I would want NO part of, having seen it.

Anna Wintour is a monster in heels. She just takes no prisoners and I suppose for the
right purpose, that has its uses....but, a magazine? Clearly, it means much to many.
But, not to me. Nevertheless, it was interesting to see the lengths she and her staff go to for
    the right content..

Two real turn-offs were the featuring of FUR. Nasty.
And the featuring of Sienna Miller. Nasty.

The older woman (Photo Designer?) with the long red hair who has worked with Anna for years was refreshing. She was real and lent a human element to the enterprise.

This was my favorite movie of all time. It was done beautifully - and really showed a side of Anna Wintour that has not been seen. A+!

    Surprising and Oddly Fascinating

    by xyzzy

I am the engineer/executive husband of a fabric, fashion, and clothing professional. I actually found it quite interesting and thought there were real hints of the person behind the glasses. There is more communicated in some of the silences and the frozen stares than in the dialogue. The cameras obviously had some limits on access but the feeling of simply being there was very well done.
