A Little Disappointed
I have always been very interested in Orthodox Judaism, and I did find many scenes of the film beautifully filmed. However, I felt that the way the scenes were cut away from, and sometimes the acting, made it seem more like a made for tv movie than a serious film. It was too melodramatic for my tastes. Also, I found it annoying how at mealtimes at the girl's seminary, they were always singing throughout the meal....how can you eat and sing at the same time? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think even the Orthodox sing that much.
