Really cool experience

Watching a live performance from London and viewed by 29 countries really made you feel like you were part of an event. The performances on stage were excellent and the sound mix put you there. Even though it looked like 1080p and not as sharp as you are used to seeing in a theater, you soon forgot about that and enjoyed the coverage and the off stage extras. I will see more of these next year for sure.

Great show! Lovely to have the privilege of meeting some of the cast, see the costumes up close, watch the tree being decorated, see dancers in rehearsals, etc., before the show. My group all loved the whole experience! Please have more like this!

It's Love on Tip Toes

Seeing The Royal Ballet: The Nutcracker, is the first real ballet I have seen in my 65 years. There was nothing I didn't appreciate, from superb acting, incredible sets, unbelievable music, gorgeous costuming and beautiful people, all brought together under superior direction in an unparallelled performance. Add to that, it was a live performance, simulcast in super cinematography, with the best of camera-to-screen projection to 29 countries, and I left "feeling Christmas", and now in love with ballet.

The Nutcracker

I loved the ballet, appreciated that it was different from what I have usually seen in many ways. I thought the dancing was excellent , the girl who played Clara was perfect for the role. The male dancers were superb and the corps de ballet were also excellent. I am originally from London and often saw ballet there, mostly at Sadler's Wells, but when Covent Garden was reopened right after the war, my father got tickets for my best friend and I to see Margot Fonteine in 'Sleeping Beauty', so last night seeing the inside of Covent Garden on the screen before the performance began, brought back so many lovely memories for me . Nutcracker

Great dancing, annoying presence of the two young leads in many of the dances of the second half. Too much fluff before and at intermission. Too cute with tweets. And I simply do not understand why this performance was not advertised in any local media. There were about a dozen people in the theater...sure made for a great Christmas spirit!
