In this drama, the manager of "The Quiet Woman," a coastal inn, finds herself falling in love with a smuggler. When her husband breaks out of prison, he goes to her and tries to convince her to help him escape. The smuggler then offers to help them leave via the sea, but unfortunately the two are captured and fatally shot by patrolling customs officials.
